together we can do this

We’re more than soil consultants or agronomists. We’re loyal business partners and friends—and we’re in this with you for the long haul. Since 1980, we’ve stood alongside farmers just like you looking for solutions to grow healthier crops. This industry may be ever-changing, but our commitment to excellence never waivers.

Melvin Nicholson

Melvin Nicholson

man with a plan

As founder and senior agronomist, Melvin discusses soil fertility issues with farmers, performs crop diagnoses, and gives tillage and soil treatment recommendations. He loves working outside, helping plants flourish, and getting dirt under his fingernails. In his free time, he volunteers at a Christian mission in Honduras, travels, gardens, and spends time with his wife, Sandra, and their nine grandchildren.

Andy Nicholson

Andy Nicholson

Longtime dirt-player

Andy grew up helping with the business since he was a boy. Today, he consults with clients, performs field duties, and does much of the office work. He appreciates having a front row seat to helping plants thrive while getting to know the farmers he serves. In the summer, he loves to bring his three kids to work to look at crops. He likes eating ethnic food, reading, and experiencing the changing seasons of Indiana.

Matt Stine

Likes a good challenge

As an agronomist, Matt partners with farmers developing dynamic soil management plans. His agronomy guidance points clients in the right direction and helps them reach their goals. When it comes to Indiana, he loves snowballs and parking lot donuts, the smell of fresh corn and bonfires. He’s married with four children, owns a Christmas tree farm, and enjoys spending time with his family.

Brian Delp

Brian Delp

Nature-loving family man

In addition to pulling soil samples, Brian provides individual consultations with farmers about their specific soil recommendation plans. He loves being outside, watching things grow, and working with the local community to grow better crops. As a Hoosier native, he appreciates the diverse Indiana landscape where he raises his three kids with his wife, Allison. Brian also enjoys using his talents on his family pumpkin farm.
